Before he became a lip balm, a label, or a collectible, Michael Myers began with pencil on paper.
This illustration was hand-drawn by Tara as the first piece in Chamoru Beauty's Hand-Drawn Horror Collection. Rather than beginning with a steady-made image, each release starts as Tara's own hand-drawn interpretation of an iconic character from horror movies and TV.
From the shadows of the mask to the texture of his clothing and pencil marks are intentionally preserved as part of the finished design.
